Adding secondary drivers to a rental

Additional drivers are allowed on Getaround provided they meet the same insurance conditions as the main driver, and have their profile verified by Getaround. It is possible to add several additional drivers to one rental.

The main driver can invite additional drivers directly via the app. If they need help, you can refer them to this article.

• Paper agreement: Photograph both sides of the secondary driver's driving licence. (Make sure to keep the photos for at least 30 days after the rental.) On the back of the rental agreement, write down their key personal information:
  • First and last name
  • Birthdate
  • Driving licence number
  • Driving licence first issue date
